I have met K-Rine though her lovely blog “K-Rine & Hand“. Her secret weapon? Her beautiful little knitted berets…

I couldn’t resist so I proposed a deal she couldn’t refuse…I had this beautiful mustard-colored wool sitting in my boxes… I had tried at least 3 times to knit a hat with it but without success (too big, too small, too strange!). So the challenge for Karine will be to knit one of her cute beret with this wool…

And I must say she surpass herself:

P1000406

  1. An amazing beret just like the one I have dreamt about! With a  oh so cute coordinated knitted flower.
  2. Beautifull mittens and matching bolero (yellow and red beacause she knew I love red…)
  3. A lovely bag embroided “Graines de Folie”

I have been really spoiled, don’t you think?

OoooOOo

I swaped with Carole.

She wanted birth clothes for her baby boy due for August. In return, I will receive a beautiful “Funny Bag” bag and its matching hairband.

I had a huge pressure, as Carole sews beautifull clothes and accessories!! A huge pressure, and no inspiration at all for at least 2 weeks… then thankfully, one night, it suddenly clicked!

Regarding her latest creations, she seems to like brown and cream colors, dots, natural fabrics and stars.

Shhhuuuut, for the moment, it is all secret…I promise I will show you as soon as she get her package.

Good luck with your pregnancy Carole, I hope it will all go well.

Take care!

I took part of the swap proposed by Les Doigts Dans La Confiture on the theme : “a Sweet Bag and its matching necklace”

A bit more about my swapper…

She likes…

… natural colors and fabrics…

… brown amber, and bronze …

… and original details …

… I WISH she will like what I have made for her…

The tutorial of the sweet bag came from here (it is in English for once, and very easy to sew).
